Security And Verification

CoreTex fails closed on stale roots, invalid compact patches, reserved writes, no-op patches, bundle or corpus mismatch, scorer mismatch, duplicate evals, and scores below threshold.

Authority comes from:

  • On-chain V4 and registry pins.
  • Public compact patch bytes.
  • Signed artifact bytes and content hashes.
  • Corpus roots and signed corpus deltas.
  • Bundle and profile hashes.
  • Revealed epoch secrets.
  • Base RPC reads for future blockhashes.
  • Deterministic CPU replay within replay tolerance.

The coordinator improves latency and miner UX. Independent validators reconstruct the same history from public artifacts and chain data. A keyless scorer can accelerate coordinator evaluation, while signing authority remains with the coordinator and replay authority remains with validators.
