Marketplace And Transfers

Direct ERC-721 transfers are disabled. Every ownership change passes through RigMarketplace, which keeps lifecycle state consistent: transfers clear activation, invalidate old operator assignments and lease windows, and open a fresh reward segment for the new owner.

WETH sale

  1. The seller lists the rig at a WETH price with an expiry; the marketplace fee rate is snapshotted at listing.
  2. A buyer pays; the seller receives the price minus the 5% fee.
  3. The NFT moves to the buyer, inactive. The buyer may resell, upgrade, or dismantle without activating, and pays the activation fee only to mine, lease, or earn the swap discount.

Both active and inactive rigs can be listed. Listing is blocked only while a lease offer or accepted lease exists.

Direct transfer

A paid wallet-to-wallet path for moves that do not need a listing: the owner pays a BOTCOIN fee of 5% of tier principal and the recipient receives the inactive NFT.

Mid-epoch sales and reward segments

A sale never deletes credits. If the seller mined this epoch, their credits stay in an immutable reward segment that pays them at claim time; the buyer's mining opens a new segment. A rig supports up to ten reward-bearing ownership segments per epoch, which keeps claim processing bounded no matter how often a rig changes hands.
